Who I am
Hi! My name is Margie and I am a high school junior interested in helping young people learn about the art of sewing from the basics of hand stitching to the craft of needlepointing. I have been sewing since I was in 2nd grade where I made MANY stuffed animals and graduated to needlepoint in 9th grade. This love may be inherited as I come from a long line of people who love to sew. My great grandfather was an amateur tailor, my grandmother loves to knit, and my cousin has her own line of purses and bags made out of old sails from sailboats that she sews herself.
I find great pleasure in keeping my hands busy creating and have so much fun sharing this joy. I love sewing so much that I even started a needlepoint club at my high school in Virginia!
